My Bio
I am first and foremost "Mom" to 3 bright and creative kids. I decided to go back to college later in life to pursue a degree in Illustration. I graduated from Rend Lake College (IL)in May of 2014 with my AA in Illustration. I want to set an example for my kids, to believe in dreams and do everything possible to achieve them. That's why I am doing this. I hope to hear my babies say, "This was all possible because my Mom believed in me." <--That is my legacy.
I love children's books, and have wanted to draw my own since I could hold a crayon. Most of what I do comes straight from my brain to my pencil. I know it's a tough market, but I would like to be a free-lance Illustrator of Children's Books. I illustrated one book (so far) entitled, "The Tree Who Was Afraid of Heights", written by Steven Hickey, which is now published and sold on Amazon.com - Kindle edition.
